Nooooooo: Ex-Stanford coach Montgomery headed to rival Cal.

What was the name that
Kal fans once called him? Oh yeah,
"Mike Mont-thuggery."

Monty goes to Kal.
I know how James Carville would
address him: Judas!

Like Ken Margerum
under Holmoe: dismantle
the bears from within?
--Gary

Welcome to the list.

Oprah Winfrey to deliver 2008 Stanford commencement address.

Stanford President John Hennessy announced on February 21 that Oprah Winfrey, "the global media leader and philanthropist," will be the university's 2008 Commencement speaker. While not strictly a football-related announcement, it was deemed worth of comment by members of the 5-7-5 Club.

Nineteen Eighty-Three
SecState George Schultz was speaker
Youth today are soft.

The Queen of All Media
